26th November Fiona =  Had an amazing experience at one of Julie’s Christmas decoration glass fusing workshops.  Excellent tuition and plenty materials to choose from. We made three fantastic Christmas decorations which when fired were fantastic.  Julie is such a friendly lovely lady who welcomed us into her home.  We will certainly be back to do another workshop.

 

8th October 2022 Dawn Dixon = We attended a workshop at Julie’s home and from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave, Julie puts you completely at ease. She is so friendly and welcoming and has a wealth of knowledge about fused glass! Julie gives guidance and knows when to give advice but can also see when you’re confident enough to get on with your design by yourself! The afternoon went too quickly and we were thrilled when we saw our finished designs. We also attended a workshop last year with Julie making Christmas decorations and we are hoping to return next year! Thank you for being you Julie! x

 

6th October 2022 Rachel = Julie explains everything so well our group of friends had a lovely morning making fused glass waves . We totally enjoyed ourselves and will be going back to a class in the new year.

 

17th August 2022 Joanne = Wow had a great afternoon with julie was only myself on the workshop, it was amazing and Julie showed me everything I needed to do. She is very friendly and helpful. I have booked for me and my family to go and do a christmas workshop cannot wait. 

 

6th March 2022 Anne = Julie begins the class with a warm welcome, then she explains what all the resources are and shows you examples. Julie is there to guide you every step of the way, no request is too much trouble, even when you throw her a curve ball and ask to make a Pukeko bird coaster😂This was my 2nd class and I will certainly be back. 10/10 Anne Burnett

 

9th February 2022 Helen = Julie has great knowledge and shares it with you explaining it very easily. I found it very calming and relaxing to do. I am very pleased with my result of my 4 coasters. I have booked to go again. Would recommend this workshops or one of her others. 

 

11th January 2022 Janet =: Completed a workshop with a friend. Julie was great with us both as beginners. Patient kind & brimming with knowledge & enthusiasm, passing on her skills. Very informative start to the workshop telling us about the different types of glass. Extremely pleased with the results

 

4th January 2022- 3 hour workshop from Ann.= I booked this workshop for my sister's birthday and we both had the most fantastic time making our own creations. Julie was fabulous in explaining the processes and helping us develop our ideas to produce two unique pieces that we both are so proud of. The actual process of making the glass design was so therapeutic and we were amazed by what we were able to create. Would highly recommend Julie's workshop, she was so friendly and welcoming. We had a really special experience in a very comfortable setting and will be booking for other workshops during this year.

October 2021 Clara =:  My sister & I had a brilliant time at one of Julie’s fused glass workshops; can’t recommend her highly enough. We received a lovely cuppa, a choice of biscuits whilst being introduced to a plethora of glass pieces & powders. Julie introduced us to everything & talked us through the process, guiding us all the way with our choices & answering all of our many, many questions. Julie is such a lovely lady, I know we’ll be back for another workshop as soon as possible. Thank you.

 

August 2021 Deborah =: Our daughter bought us a fused glass workshop with Julie two years ago. This year we finally got there. The workshop was so worth the wait. Julie guided us, inspired us, and we both created beautiful decorated glass pieces, mine a square dish, my husband's a curved picture, which catches the light beautifully in our dining room. Relaxing, fun and with Julie to guide us, foolproof! A great gift and an afternoon well spent.

August 2021  Ann Jackie Marg & Norma = My sisters arranged the workshop for my birthday in April 2020 and for various reasons have only been able to do the workshop last week. Julie was fantastic and a great teacher. Guiding us on our chosen designs without imposing her own ideas. We all did something different and are over the moon with the results. Would have liked to have done the Xmas decorations workshops but no suitable dates available as nearly all taken. Thankyou Julie, it was a long wait but worth it, we had a lovely morning.

 

July 2021 Ellie =I had already been to do the taster session before but brought my sister and a friend to come and do it again!  Julie is great at helping you to create whatever idea you have thought of and has lots of different types of glass to try out. June 2021 Louise = Spent a really enjoyable workshop with Julie working in our family bubble. We really enjoyed the activity and the finished product exceeded our expectation. There was a huge variety of resources for us to use and Julie was an excellent and knowledgable tutor. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked another session for later in the year!

October 2020 Jeanette =My daughter and I spent a lovely morning at Julie’s workshop. She was so friendly and helpful, and despite the necessary “Covid” measures, we felt relaxed and safe.

We were delighted with our wave picture and coaster set, me especially as I am not ‘arty’ in the least. My picture is now in pride of place in my lounge. Thank you Julie xx

 

September 2020 Kathryn =  I bought my friend and I a half day course with Julie for a morning in September, it was a grey miserable day out but we were welcomed and enjoyed our creative morning guided by Julie and were both really happy with our colourful glass waves.
